While the video is funny, it is also wildly unfair since the woman is depicted as being unreasonable.
In my experience, when people have personal problems, the “fix” is rarely clear — and usually has many undesirable consequences — and having personal problems hardly seems isolated to any single sex.
Actually, now that I watch it again, it strikes me that this is just a fictionalization of that popular work of pseudo-science: Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus.
Wow, its about the different genders and the perspectives. Men are more are impatient they want everything done now. Whereas women just wants to be listened to in fact there may be no fix because each moment is ever-changing. You’ve got me thinking…Thanks
This video, which was shown in church last week, annoyed me. It seems true, in my experience, that men TEND to want to fix the problem while women TEND to want to vent without being given advice. Sure is true in my house! 🙂 And sometimes, as seen in the video, the issue really is “the nail” or whatever the problem is, and must be addressed. However, the video is insulting. The woman looks like an idiot. The man is the reasonable one. Agree that it is a small, tiny, rehash of that annoying book Men/Mars Women?Venus. Really annoying video.
