Carnival coming soon

I am in touch with friends and relatives in New York City, but only intermittently. Some have power at work but not at home, and others the other way around. Some have candles and wine, but no way to cook. Others haul gallons of water in their cars from home to work to be able to flush toilets. But they are running out of gas. Some are sitting in their cars near coffee shops, picking up on increasingly overtaxed wifi networks and others are metering out their cellphone minutes carefully. So we have decided to wait a few days to post the carnival.

Yes, as Suzanne suggests, our hearts and our thoughts are with all of you who are recovering and are in such dire straights and who may not be able to connect to the internet regularly yet even to connect with friends and bloggers.
We also want you to know how we’ve appreciated the many good recommendations for posts to include in the carnival. Several of you have asked if you can keep sending us your nominations. The answer is, Yes!
As we draft the carnival post to go live sometime this month, we want to show off as many biblical studies post from last month that you’ve noted. So keep those coming, and we’ll do our best.
