WordPress.com just broke our formatting!
I’m sorry to say that some change at WordPress.com – apparently within the last hour – has caused our blog theme (Vigilance) to render wrong. I notice we are not the only blog with this problem! Currently, the entire text is flooded in a difficult to read brown color.
We’ve complained to WordPress (and I think many users have) and I hope we’ll see a fix soon. In the meanwhile, apologies for the strange (and difficult to read) presentation.

Update: the formatting problem has been fixed, but there is still an ugly hovering bar now at the bottom of our main page advertising the “Vigilance” theme, as part of the WordPress switch to “infinite scrolling” on all of their themes.
We are working on the problem and hope to address it shortly.

The problem appears to be related to an ugly translucent floating bar now over bottom of our main page that says:
We’ll be updating you as we hear updates. In the meanwhile, one work-around that currently works is to click on an individual post and read the post on its own page..
Not a problem for me – maybe it’s fixed

Bob, it still seems broken on five different browsers that I have tried. When you go to http://bltnotjustasandwich.com , do you find that the entire page seems to have a brown background?
Well, part of the blog formatting issues have been fixed, but there is still an incredibly ugly hovering bar at the bottom of our main page. We may be changing our page format over the next few days to address this.
Work-around found. I’ll be implementing it later tonight.
